Created in 2014, Unilever Prestige is a collection of nine high-performance luxury brands, each handpicked by Petrou: Dermalogica, Murad, Kate Somerville, Garancia, Tatcha, Living Proof, Ren, Hourglass Cosmetics and Paula’s Choice. Having risen through the ranks of the world’s most prestigious corporate beauty companies, in her role as CEO of Unilever Prestige, Vasiliki provides the group with the support and platform to thrive. Credited as being a ‘true visionary’, Petrou has also led the creation of the Unilever Pitch Innovation Centres in London and New York. Petrou has pioneered a “new world” culture within Unilever Prestige known for mental and physical wellbeing, diversity and female empowerment. Petrou has also championed the running of the division more similar to a luxury technology beauty company that thrives on speed, agility and iteration. Additionally, Petrou is also the chair of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW).
