Having originally joined Frasers Group in 2015, Michael Murray was appointed as Chief Executive of Frasers Group in May 2022. Murray has overseen the Group’s rebrand from Sports Direct International to Frasers Group plc -  better reflecting the proposition for the business. He has also been responsible for driving forward Frasers Group’s elevation strategy and strengthening key brand partnerships. Murray has elevated the store portfolio through reinventing the identity of flagship brands, Sports Direct and FLANNELS, and has also been responsible for strategic acquisitions including Missguided and Gieves & Hawkes.
