John was formally named CEO of multi-national powerhouse, Alshaya Group, in July 2020. As CEO, John has overall responsibility for Alshaya Group’s performance and growth, including its current transformation programme which is driving Alshaya’s omnichannel evolution. John leads a diverse and skilled team who together drive the performance of thousands of retail stores, cafes, restaurants and leisure destinations, as well as a strong online and digital business - all of whom are committed to delivering great customer experiences. John leads Alshaya's team which continues to build a portfolio of +70 brands extending across MENA, Turkey and Europe. Notably, Alshaya Group have collaborated with pan-retailers from all over the world including: Starbucks, H&M, Mothercare, Debenhams, American Eagle Outfitters, Victoria’s Secret, P.F. Chang’s, The Cheesecake Factory, Bath & Body Works, M.A.C, The Body Shop, Boots, Pottery Barn, and KidZania.
