Having re-founded the business in 1998,  over 24 years Daniele has led the business's growth from 1.5 million euros to 200 million euros - managing the company's transition from artisanal to industrial before becoming a truly global retailer. Over the past 25 years, Daniele has expanded Venchi's presence to over 70 countries - including prominent cities such as London, Dubai, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo. In 2017, he won the Ernst & Young Award as Entrepreneur of the Year in the Food & Beverage category, and in 2018, he received the INSEADer Alumnus of the Year award.
