Çağlayan Çetin is President of Trendyol Group, one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms.

Founded initially as a fashion e-commerce business in Istanbul in 2010, Trendyol has since grown into a multi-category online marketplace connecting sellers and brands with customers in Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Azerbaijan, Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. It also wholesales its own private label brand, Trendyol Collection, to 95 partner platforms around the world.

Before joining Trendyol in 2021, Çağlayan enjoyed a distinguished career in corporate finance, working for, among others, Goldman Sachs, where he was a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Country Officer of Türkiye. He was also the Co-Founder and CEO of DOME Group, a London-based, FCA-regulated merchant bank focusing on emerging markets.
