Anass is the co-founder and co-CEO at eyewa, MENA's leading eyewear omnichannel retailer, which was founded in 2017 as a pure-play e-commerce before expanding into an omnichannel approach with a physical retail network across the GCC region, having opened 100 stores in 3 years in 5 countries, focusing on eyewa's house brands. With more than twelve years of entrepreneurial and managerial experience, Anass has an in-depth understanding of e-commerce and startups. Before eyewa, Anass was the Managing Director at Foodpanda Middle East, where he managed the business operations and growth for the global startup (>$350m capital raised) for more than three years across the UAE, KSA, Egypt, and Jordan. Anass also led multiple mergers and acquisitions in the food delivery space, including HungerStation in KSA and Otlob in Egypt. Anass led Foodpanda Middle East until Foodpanda's acquisition by Delivery Hero in 2017.
